Name: Hour of Code | Tech on Tap
Date: November 27, 2018
Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM CST
Event Description:
The Nashville Technology Council will be partnering Williamson, Davidson, and Rutherford County schools with local technology professionals during Computer Science Week. Last year, over 2200 students in local schools participated in the global movement Hour of Code, where teachers implemented one hour of coding activities in their classrooms. We need educators who have 1 hour of classroom time to engage students in learning a new technology and volunteers passionate about computer science!

Tech on Tap is an opportunity for volunteers and educators to connect and talk about ideas for implementing the hour of code in their classroom. It is highly recommended to attend as it serves as a good time for volunteers and educators to get to know each other better and gain ideas from others about activities for the classroom.

Sign up at the form below and an NTC staff member will notify you by email of when you are matched. It is the responsibility of the teacher and volunteer to coordinate a day and time that will work for the visit.
