Description
As a critical component of scientific research at Vanderbilt University, ACCRE has been constantly challenged by the interminable demand for data storage. In just the last five years their storage capacity has increased 11-fold and includes five different multi-petabyte systems. This talk will cover technical and economical details of lessons learned when building, changing, or migrating storage solutions.
The presentation will be given by Hunter Hagewood, ACCRE's Director of Research Computing Operations. The topic is of particular interest to those with upcoming storage projects or organizations where storage has become a bottleneck.
