Joanne Hogan, Ingram Content: Project Management 101: How to drive innovative problem-solving: Even when provided the same information, tools and resources, we don’t always “see” the same end results. An issue we often face when working and collaborating to solve a problem, is that different business partners and team members process and interpret information differently. We will explore how to co-create ideas and to get others to visually think outside the box, as in most cases there is no “one right answer”. Join the group as we learn new concepts of thinking, and communication to tackle a project. Bina Patel, Asurion: Shape of You: We will be talking about shapes in relation to personality types and how to communicate more effectively with others who differ in personality styles. Kim Varga, Director Power Solutions, Schneider Electric: EMBRACE RISK TAKING - IT CAN HELP YOUR CAREER! Are you comfortable taking calculated career risks today? What is holding you back from stepping forward in your professional life? Do you want to learn how others have taken risks, and what worked or didn’t work? Let’s discuss how to get more comfortable taking risks to build up your confidence and up-level your career experience! Melinda Walega, VP Human Resources, Schneider Electric: Free to be ourselves at work: We will be discussing why it matters to be your authentic self, how to identify what may get in the way and how to drive the right balance of uniqueness and belonging. Exclusion can show up in various ways so come learn about strategies to overcome it. Mary Hope Willard, Technical Recruiter, Ramsey Solutions: Vocational Alignment to Passion: Get some job change advice from a person who hated where she worked for 7 years!
