This Senior Manager – Infrastructure and Support Services (ISS) role is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about technology and innovation and is looking to join a highly collaborative team and work on a diverse set of projects serving sophisticated LBMC internal customers. LBMC's Enterprise Technology Group (ETG) is a rapidly-growing IT group, focusing on delivering digital transformation on a stable infrastructure, that is secured, and offers the best user experience.

New hires will work with LBMC’s internal customers to design and build scalable, reliable infrastructure and support services. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, developers, and consultants and apply creativity and critical thinking skills to accomplish complex projects and day-to-day operations. We expect knowledge and experience with cloud and on-premise technologies and working with third party systems. The candidate will be local to middle Tennessee and will be expected to come into office frequently and be able to attend to data center activities with less than 1 hour drive to Brentwood, TN.


  • Responsible for Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Support Services. Thought leadership with a discipline in ITIL-based (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes. IT Infrastructure include on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure needed for Firm wide operations. Support Services include procurement, asset management and support of all end user devices and service desk management.
  • Responsible for on-premise data center setup, operations and maintenance. Including telecom and networks.
  • Responsible for cloud migration, cloud infrastructure setup, operations, and maintenance. 
  • Experienced DBA with functional knowledge of relational databases/structures, dimensional data modeling, data quality/scrubbing, and usage of data integration/ETL tools (Azure Data Factory or SSIS) 
  • Responsible for sustaining Firm wide operation 24x7x365 with stable orchestration of infrastructure.
  • Accountable for data center operations including but not limited to cyclical processes, capacity management, performance management, backups and business continuity planning.
  • Establish repeatable processes, KPIs, solutions, monitoring and alerting, proactive maintenance, upgrades, patches, rigorously disciplined change control, industry standards, for sustaining highly reliable business operation.
  • Responsible for identifying vendors in the market for services and solution, negotiation of terms and contracts, relationship building, and implementation of those services and solution.
  • Responsible for conference room technology, upgrading Audio/Video equipment, maintaining, and supporting day-to-day use of conference room equipment, and working with vendors for improving conference room technology to latest equipment.
  • Financial stewardship in identifying cost saving alternatives, recommending, and selling the proposals to leadership, developing and executing a well-structured plan to realize the savings.
  • Develop 3 – 5 years technology roadmap encompassing technology trends.
  • Develop executable annual project roadmap and deliver them on-time and on-budget.
  • Execute large and complex programs that could span more than one year.
  • Thought leader in proposing organization models, coach and mentor for team members, team player, and relationship builder.
  • Skilled in paying attention to details, strategic thinking, growth mindset, organized, and be a planner.
  • Be a strategic advisor on technology to the Chief Information Officer and the leadership team.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., Hybrid Cloud, Hyperconverged, Software Defined Infrastructure, etc.).


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree in business or a technology-related discipline preferred
  • 8+ years of systems engineering and scope of work-related experience
  • 5+ years’ experience writing SQL, and DBA experience
  • Functional knowledge of relational databases/structures, dimensional data modeling, data quality/scrubbing, and usage of data integration/ETL tools (Azure Data Factory or SSIS)
  • Azure certifications required
  • Exposure to Azure cloud services and native cloud application landscape. Additional exposure to AWS will be a plus.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment to meet client project demands and timelines
  • Continued willingness to learn new technologies, techniques, and presentation methods and act as a tenacious problem solver
  • Exceptional team management skills with minimum of 5 years leading system engineering team
  • Exceptional communication skills and strategic thinker
