POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will perform test planning/strategy, building testing estimates, and executing both manual and automated test scripts on web and mobile applications. Resource will be a part of a key testing team responsible for software releases, small enhancements, and large corporate projects.

The position will collaborate with systems analysts, technical teams, project managers, and business sponsors through the entire software lifecycle. Responsible for providing testing documentation, defect metrics, as well as assurance of quality on-time and within budget.

 

DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ?  Ability to execute manual testing on Web and Mobile applications

  • ?  Ability to accurately detail defects using DevOps and/or ZenDesk applications

  • ?  Conduct thorough regression testing for each release to ensure high quality production

    deployments

  • ?  Enforces QA standards and contributes to the QA processes

  • ?  Basic knowledge of SQL queries (writing SELECT statement to return results)

  • ?  Review functional requirements to design test criteria

  • ?  Serve as Level Three Support to help isolate customer issues

  • ?  Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)

  • ?  Experience with regression, performance, exploratory and API testing

  • ?  Proficiency in computer technology and programming languages (at all basic levels)

  • ?  Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) within multiple team settings

  • ?  Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • ?  Strong attention to details and demonstrates passion to learn new products and technologies

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ?  May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty

  • ?  5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area

  • ?  Demonstrates strong knowledge and capabilities within specific area of responsibility

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • ?  Software Lifecycle (SDLC) Best Practices

  • ?  Familiarity working in Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • ?  Organizational and Planning and ability to multi-task

  • ?  Problem Solving

  • ?  Experience with TFS/DevOps or Jira

  • ?  Function and Non-Functional Testing Methodologies
