User Experience Designer (UX/UI)

As UX Designer, you will design product at a venture-backed startup at the forefront of clinical decision support and evidence-based medicine in healthcare. You will create the detailed vision for the end user’s experience. As everyone adapts to a remote working environment, you can be from outside Nashville, knowing that you might have to occasionally commute for meetings with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rapidly develops mocks and wireframes for internal stakeholder and customer review
  • Designs and delivers working prototypes for rapid application design and build
  • Visually captures the intended experience for an EvidenceCare end user

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Healthcare UI/UX design experience preferred
  • Highly skilled in creating storyboards and wireframes
  • Proficient in visual design programs such as Sketch, Figma, Axure
  • Leverages UI/UX best practices
  • Ability to translate clinical requirements/workflows into intuitive, easy-to-use designs
  • Experience with UI testing and troubleshooting
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly execute on work while also strategically thinking long-term
  • Ability to prioritize and manage assigned milestones
  • Possesses good written and communication skills
  • Team player that can work closely with various project stakeholders (internal and external) on scenarios, end-to-end experiences, and screen designs
  • Ability to work with multiple teams such as Product, Engineering, and Operations
  • Skilled presenter that can engage customers and end-users to both solicit feedback and build consensus

(Very) Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with clinical provider workflows in the ambulatory and inpatient settings
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability technologies (FHIR, HL7, etc.)
  • Prior experience with EHR implementations, notably clinical documentation and orders builds
  • Previous coding/architecture experience a bonus, especially in Javascript/Typescript
